Your Daily Schedule on the Dashboard

The Dashboard schedule shows every meeting you have today, in time order, with the actions you need to prep for and run them. It’s the home base for your day in Spark and the place you’ll come back to between meetings. Only you can see your own schedule - it lists the meetings tied to your account.

Moving Around the Schedule

The schedule opens on today by default. To look ahead or back:

  • Today - jumps the view back to today’s date. Use this anytime you’ve navigated away.
  • Arrows - step the view one day backward or forward.
  • Date (e.g., Wed, Feb 25, 2026) - click the date to open a date picker and jump to a specific day in the past or future.

A red line marks the current time across the schedule, so you can see where you are in the day at a glance.

What’s on Each Meeting

Each scheduled meeting shows up as a block in its time slot. The left side of the block shows the meeting details:

  • Participants - the group name with its students listed underneath, or a list of students if the meeting isn’t tied to a group. When there are more names than fit, the rest are hidden behind three dots - hover to see them all.
  • Time - start and end (for example, 01:10PM - 01:40PM).
  • School name - shown after the time if you’re assigned to more than one school, so you can tell at a glance which school this meeting is at.

The right side of the block shows the actions:

  • Lesson - the name of the assigned lesson, linked to the lesson in the Curriculum library. Clicking the lesson name opens the lesson; it does not start the meeting. If no lesson is assigned yet, you’ll see an Assign Lesson prompt instead. See Assigning a Lesson to an Upcoming Meeting.
  • Observations - shown after the meeting’s end time. Complete Now if observations haven’t been filled in yet, or ✅ View once they have. See Adding Observations After a Meeting.
  • Did this meeting occur? Confirm - appears after the meeting’s end time if the platform doesn’t yet know whether you ran it. Click Confirm to mark whether it happened.

Clicking a Meeting

Clicking the meeting block itself (not the lesson name on the right) opens a menu of meeting actions. The options change depending on whether the meeting is upcoming, live, or past:

  • For upcoming or live meetings, Join Meeting appears as the main action. See Starting a Meeting From Your Dashboard.
  • For past meetings, you’ll see actions like Group Details, Change Status, Assign Lesson, and Edit Meeting.

Scheduling a New Meeting

Click + New Meeting above the schedule to open the scheduling form. Use this to schedule a one-off meeting or set up a recurring meeting series - both are supported, and recurring is the typical case.
