The Up Next Banner
The Up Next banner sits at the top of your Dashboard and highlights the next meeting on your schedule. It’s there so you can orient yourself quickly between meetings and jump straight into the next one without scrolling through your full schedule.
What the Banner Shows
The banner pulls your next scheduled meeting and surfaces the key details:
- Start time for the meeting.
- Curriculum or subject so you know whether it’s Reading or Math.
- Student names for the participants.
- Lesson name if a lesson is already assigned. If not, the banner shows a clear indicator that you need to pick one.
Quick Actions
The action button on the right changes based on whether a lesson is assigned:
- Start Lesson - shown when a lesson is already assigned. Click to launch into the meeting. See Starting a Meeting From Your Dashboard.
- Assign Lesson - shown when no lesson has been assigned yet. Click to assign one, then come back to the banner to start. See Assigning a Lesson to an Upcoming Meeting.
Common Issues
I Don’t See an Up Next Banner
The banner only appears when you have an upcoming meeting on your schedule. If you don’t have any upcoming meetings, the banner won’t show. Scroll your full schedule to confirm what’s coming up - if there’s nothing there, you’re set for the day.
